Training in a nautical environment is unique to the Sea Cadet Program.
In-person hands-on seamanship training provides safe experiences and life-long learning for cadet youth.
Participants have signed-up and selected for either (see cadet list below):
- Tall Ship (Both Sat and Sun)
- HMCS OJIBWA (Sat Only or Sun Only)
Transportation:
Parent Drop Off (Armoury): 0630 hrs (6:30 am)
Parent Pick Up (Armoury): 1800 hrs (6:00 pm)
Bussing is provided from the Armoury (12 Chapel St, Brampton) to Training Location and return each day.

Dress:
Cadets: C5 Training Dress (STU – Blue Shirt, Ball Cap, Swat Boots)
Staff: No. 5 Service Dress (NECU)
If you do not have a STU uniform, wear comfortable civilian clothes, closed toes shoes (no sandals, no flip-flops)
Meal:
Lunch will be provided each training day.
Cadets to eat breakfast prior to drop-off at Armoury each morning.
Cadets may bring snacks (Nut / Allergy Free Snacks Only).
Training Location:
Tall Ship: Brigs Tall Ship Training, Harbour West – West Docks, Hamilton, ON
HMCS Ontario: 3 Pitt St, Port Burwell, ON
Kit List:
Be prepared for outdoor weather, windbreaker, jacket, fleece.
Bring a backpack with clothing items, water bottle.
If you do not have a C5 uniform, wear comfortable civilian clothes, closed toes shoes, ball cap/hat (no sandals, no flip-flops)
Sunscreen
Sunglasses/glasses with safety strap (Tall Ship)
