It is important that Cadets actively participate in community service, in direct alignment with an aim of the Cadet Program – To develop attributes of good citizenship.
Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Campaign is an important community service activity for cadets.
Through participation in remembrance activities, cadets remember those who have served and help support current members of the Royal Canadian Legion, local Branch 609 and Branch 15.
Drop-Off / Pick-Up:
Parent/guardian cadet drop-off and pick-up at designated times and locations as shown on 139 Sea Calendar.
Please arrive promptly for start of shift and end of shift.

Poppy Shift 3 – Fri 1 Nov at 1800-2100 (6-9pm)
Bramalea City Centre (BCC)
Meet at Royal Canadian Legion booth, near ground floor elevator.
Poppy Shift 4 – Sat 2 Nov at 0900-1300 (9am – 1pm)
Legion Branch 15, 80 Mary St – Meet at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 15 to pick-up / return poppy box prior to going to Shoppers World.
After picking up poppy box at Branch 15, drop-off cadet at Shoppers World. At end of poppy shift, pick up cadet and return poppy box to Branch 15.
Poppy Shift 5 – Sat 2 Nov at 1300-1700 (1-5pm)
Legion Branch 15, 80 Mary St – Meet at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 15 to pick-up / return poppy box prior to going to Shoppers World.
After picking up poppy box at Branch 15, drop-off cadet at Shoppers World. At end of poppy shift, pick up cadet and return poppy box to Branch 15.
* Shoppers World – Dress for weather, jackets, gloves (cadets will be outside stores / store vestibule)

C3 Service Dress (White Top, White Shirt, Tunic, Parade Boots)
C5 Training Dress (STU – Blue Shirt, Ball Cap, Swat Boots) – Only if no C3 uniform

Lunch
Saturday – Cadets participating in both morning and afternoon shifts will be provided with support to help cover costs of lunch.
