Safety Message
139 Sea Staff and Navy League would like to reinforce that safety is paramount in the Cadet Program. Safety is a responsibility shared by all adult staff, cadets, parents/guardians.
- Reminder to all parents/guardians and cadets to please make best efforts to drop-off and pick-up cadets at the Cadet Activity including Regular Training Nights at the posted activity Start and End times.
- 139 Sea staff will always make best efforts to arrive at the Cadet Activity drop-off location at the posted activity start time.
- * * If a cadet arrives too early prior to the posted activity start time, 139 Sea staff may not have arrived to supervise the cadet. * *
- 139 Sea staff will always make best efforts to dismiss cadets on time at the posted activity end/pick-up time during Regular Training Nights and Cadet Activities.
- * * When returning from Cadet Activities with Transportation/Bussing, planned return / pick-up time may vary from the posted return time due to traffic, weather, other. 139 Sea staff will provide updates on return / pick-up times from Cadet Activities involving transportation/bussing. * *
180 Derry Rd E – Cadet Drop-off & Pick-up
To support cadet drop-off and pick-up at 180 Derry Rd E:
- If the Visitor Parking Lot is full, the main Derry Rd Gate will be opened by security for cadet drop-off / pick-up within the secured area.
- Cadets will use the sidewalk to enter and leave the building through the public front entrance.
